Skiing
The ski tracks in Pamporovo, situated between 1926 meters and 1450 meters above sea level, are suitable for people of any age, who want to ski. Every tourist in Pamporovo resort, no matter whether he/she is a beginner or an advanced skier, may find a place, where he/she may amuse himself/herself, practicing his/her favorite sport. The 37 kilometers of ski tracks for alpine disciplines have different degree of smoothness, as they range from green to black (categories). Most of the ski tracks are green and blue (categories), which makes the winter resort suitable not only for people, who are ski beginners, but also for those, who want to improve their skills and techniques. Advanced skiers have a wide choice, but Stenata is the most difficult area.
Pamporovo also offers very good conditions for skiing outside snow-processed areas, but we recommend you to do that only in the company of an experienced ski teacher.
The winter holiday resort Pamporovo JSC has hired highly qualified ski teachers, who have the reputation of being among the best in Europe, as they conduct their ski training in groups or individually.
Pamporovo JSC also offers ski equipment of the world-famous brands Atomic, Rossignol, Head and others on rent. There are, at the disposal of the resort guests, over 2 000 pairs of skis and shoes, arranged in nine ski wardrobes.
There is also something for the fans of ski running. The inclined Rhodopi mountain offers brilliant conditions for practicing this sport. The 25-kilometer-long ski run passes through exceptionally beautiful localities from Pamporovo to Mugla village and back.
