The winter holiday resort Pamporovo has six new snow-processing machines, manufactured by the leading companies in this industry “KÄSSBOHRER GELÄNDEFAHRZEUG” and “PRINITH”.
This year, the resort complex Pamporovo purchased and delivered to the winter resort the only snow-processing machine in Bulgaria, manufactured by the company “Prinith”- Italy, top model LEITWOLF as its capacity is 435 HP (horse power). It is used for processing steep areas and especially for the black category ski tracks in the holiday resort Pamporovo and the resort also has two snow-processing machines with winches from the models:
- Kassbohrer PB. 300 Polar, horse power capacity-465 horse power
- Kassbohrer PB. 300, horse power capacity-330 horse power
Besides that, we have also three latest generation machine models, respectively:
- Kassbohrer PB. 400 as its horse power capacity is 370 horse power
- Kassbohrer PB. 300, horse power capacity -330 horse power
- Kassbohrer PB. 200, horse power capacity-280 horse power
This whole machine park guarantees the problem-free processing of ski tracks during the present winter season 2009/2010.
Besides that, due to the new trends in snowboard and especially due to half-pipe use, the resort complex Pamporovo installed a modern and functional half-pipe 110 meters long and we delivered for this purpose special attachable device for the machines for its processing.
During this year, the resort complex Pamporovo also invested in the expansion of the artificial snow system, as for this purpose we have also installed an automated snow-making machine, which is already operational and the total length of the pipes is 13 860 meters and there are 171 hydrant shafts, which on its part guarantees the covering of the resort ski tracks with artificial snow.
