Annual Reports
Under article 40 from Bulgaria’s Law on accounting, all businesses operating under article 38 from the same law are obliged to publish their annual financial reports with the content, which has been certified, together with the report on the certification, which has been drawn up by the registered auditor. Their publication must be in a daily newspaper, in an economic edition, in their own edition or on the Internet. These reports must be published within to three months after the approval of the annual financial report by the auditor. Under article 37 from Bulgaria’s Law on accounting, Bulgarian companies must draw up their annual financial report till 31 March on the following year and these persons, who own more than half of the shares, from the share installments, from the votes, or control management bodies in other enterprises, must draw up a consolidated financial report before 30 June on the following year.
